KENNETH REED SHADDOCK On May 2, 2007, Ken passed away peacefully in Kawana Waters, Queensland, Australia, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his first wife Helen who passed away in 1979, and his second wife Rose who passed away in 2006. Ken lived the first 60 years of his life in southern Ontario. He worked for many years at AVRO Aircraft based in Malton, Ontario. After retirement, he started Jalna Travel in Mississauga, Ontario, which he enjoyed running for many years with his first wife Helen, and later with his son Reed. Ken and his second wife Rose moved to Cooloongatta, Queensland, in 1986 and enjoyed a wonderful life together down under. He then moved up to Buderim, and finally into a lovely retirement home in Kawana Waters. Ken will be sadly missed by sons, Mark (Donna) of Winnipeg, Reed (Phyllis) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Scott of Vancouver; also by grandchildren, Jeffrey, Stephen, Jessica and Gregory; and by stepdaughters, Simone (Ric) and Michele (Jason) who live in Australia. Ken will also be missed by many relatives and friends in Ontario, Queensland and Winnipeg. A private service attended by relatives and friends was held on May 14 near Buderim at lovely Cotton Tree Park overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Flowers are gratefully declined, but those who wish may make a donation in Ken's name to a charity of their choice.
