EUNICE MOXAM (TREADWELL)
Date of Passing: May 05, 2009
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEUNICE MOXAM (nee TREADWELL) It is with great sadness, we say good-bye to Eunice Moxam (nee Treadwell), a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She passed away peacefully, at the age of 78, at Stonewall Hospital on May 5, 2009, with her daughter Susan and son-in-law Ron by her side. She will be sadly missed by her partner of 14 years, Raymond Bowman, her son Leonard, daughter Susan Wieler (nee Moxam) (Ron), her grandson Leonard, granddaughter Taarna and all of her great-grandchildren, as well as her longest and dearest friend, Elsie Schoen and husband Ed. Eunice was born and raised in Winnipeg. She grew up in the north end until her family moved to the west end, where she lived until moving to Stonewall in 1996. In Stonewall she started volunteering at the 55+ club, which she really enjoyed. She always wanted to be busy doing something. She was a very young spirit, and enjoyed laughing, travelling and having fun. She was lucky enough to have done extensive travelling in her lifetime, a lot with her daughter. She is to be cremated at Wheeler Funeral Chapel and Reception and as her request there will be no funeral services. If anyone so desires, donations can be made to The Heart Stroke Foundation.
