CORNELIUS A. FRIESEN Cornelius A. Friesen, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2012. He was the son of Abram and Anna Friesen (nee Ens) of Steinau Kreis Nickapol, Russia. He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers, two sisters, and one great-granddaughter. He leaves to mourn his wife of 62 years, Mary, sons Abe (Ruth), Jake (Doris), daughter Elizabeth (Ted) Friesen, granddaughters Jenny (Ty) Plett and Amber, and great-grandchild Zander Plett. Funeral services will be held at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street, Winnipeg, MB at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012. Interment at Green Acres Cemetery. Dad was much loved and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace dad. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concordia Oncology Department.
