GWENDOLYN LIGERTWOOD

GWENDOLYN ADA LIGERTWOOD 1927 - 2012 With deep sadness we announce the passing of Gwen at Deer Lodge Centre on Monday, January 30, 2012, at the age of 85. Mom was predeceased by Doug in 1996. Mom leaves to cherish her memory her children, Peter (Debbie), Cheryl (Brian) and her grandchildren, Kristen, Allison, Chris (Marni), Karen, Dustin and one great-grandchild, Noah. Mom also leaves behind one brother Kenneth, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life, Come and Go Reception, will be held at the Norwood Hotel (Tache Room) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2012. If desired, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

  • Gwen lived at Deer Lodge on the same floor as my mom. My mom was Gwen's best friend. I work there as a rec leader and it was my pleasure to get to know Gwen have many laughs and cries together as well as Gwen always saying Jayme-Lyn you make my day let's go to bingo ok. Gwen lets go well you see she says I ate so much I'm tired. She has a special place in my heart and always will. I ate dinners with her and took her downstairs. Gwen will be very missed by my mom and I will be at the come and go things on Sun. Can't wait to meet you guys. LOVE YOU GWEN it's sad I didn't get to say hi but I just got out of the hospital. Hugs from here to you. Miss you. All angels go to heaven so I know you are up there. One request, save a spot for my mom then I know she's taken care of :)
