DONNA MYKYTYN

DONNA (DORIS) MYKYTYN Doris passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the age of 87 years at Tudor House, Selkirk, MB. Left to cherish her memory are sisters Jean and Lena, nephews Joe (Eileen), Peter (Nina) and Ray (Michelle), nieces Susan (Rod) and Priscilla (Jim) and sister-in-law Christina. Doris was predeceased by her parents Peter and Mary, brothers Bill (in infancy), John, Nick, Metro, Mike, Steve and Alex, sisters Catherine, Anne, Nellie and Pauline and nephews Alex and Wayne. Doris worked at various jobs in Winnipeg, but she devoted much time to helping family members on the farm with chores, gardening, etc. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Doris had faith in the Bible promise of resurrection to life on a paradise earth where pain, sickness and death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4) Heartfelt thanks to the staff and personnel of Tudor House for their loving and compassionate care of Doris. Also sincere thanks to the members of the Selkirk Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for their many encouraging visits. Thanks as well to Irene for her care and support. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 12 Hawthorne Pl., Selkirk, MB with Mr. Richard Downing officiating.
