ERNELL BYFIELD

ERNELL WILLIAM BYFIELD It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ernell Foot Byfield. Peacefully on June 15, 2012, at the age of 82, he took his last breaths and returned home to be with our God. Born in Jamaica in 1929, immigrating to England in 1960 and then to Canada in 1979. He was a true lover of travel and life. He leaves to mourn his siblings, Cynthia, Joyce and Naphtali; Nora, his former wife of 25 years; his children, Lorna, Michael, Yvonne, Sharon, Stephen, and Richard; 16 beloved grandchildren and many other friends and family. A service will be held at New Anointing Christian Fellowship Church, 1425 Manitoba Ave., Winnipeg, MB on Saturday, June 23. Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
