

KENNETH GILBERT KARLOWSKY Peacefully, on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Victoria Hospital, with his loving spouse and companion Jean by his side, Kenneth passed away. Left to cherish his memory are spouse Jean Busch, daughter Pam (Wayne) Larkin, son Dwight (Lynn), stepson Bob (Joan) Boddy, grandchildren, Dwayne and Alexander Till, Trevor and Stephen Larkin, Kelley Lawlor, Bob Jr. Boddy; great-grandchildren Milo Till, Owen and Ameila Larkin, Makayla and Jenna Boddy; brother, Ernie, sisters, Gwen and Peggy. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen; brothers Ronald, Gordy and Jimmy; sisters Lily and Doreen; brothers-in-law Joe McCormick, Wilfred Marsch, Oliver Leclair and Vic Sivaria. Ken was born on November 17, 1930 in Winnipeg to Karl (Charlie) and Phyllis Karlowsky. He was raised in Brunkild and was one of nine children. Ken moved to Winnipeg and worked for the City of Winnipeg, driving bus. He left transit to open a Canadian oil gasoline station. After 15 years he returned to transit where he retired in 1985. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Drive. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
