HELEN BEMBENEK

HELEN BEMBENEK (nee ZADOROZNY) It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mom and Granny at the age of 74. She was predeceased by her husband Paul on March 29, 2011. Remaining to cherish Helen's memory are her children, Mike (Gail), Steve (Pam), Tim, Lynne (Rob), Chris (Jocelyn) and her grandchildren. Helen was a lifelong member of the CWL, holding many significant titles. She was an active member of many parishes in the city and most recently at Our Lady of Hope in Anola, MB. She had many interests and talents including, sewing, needlepoint, quilting and knitting, all of which she did to perfection. She and Paul took great pride in their many homes creating opportunities for many great memories. Prayers will be held Sunday, July 8 at 7:00 p.m. at Wojcik's, 1020 Main St. Funeral service Monday, July 9 at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

  • Have known Helen since childhood & was delighted after living in the USA to be reconnected with her. We had many lengthy conversations as we shared the huge common interest of our Faith and the CWL. Helen, you will be well remembered and missed by many.
