GEORGE COOK

GEORGE WESLEY (WES) COOK Wes Cook, 82, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away after a long illness on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg. Wes leaves behind three sons and their partners: George Wesley and Debbie McLoughlin, Warren Kenneth and Zeena Mohammed, and Scott Bradley and Lisette Dansereau. He also says goodbye to six grandchildren: Jami, Jackie, Geordie, Scotland, Spencer and Declan, and two great-grandchildren: Levi and Eason. Wes is survived by his younger brother Denny and partner Beverley Harmon. Wes was predeceased by his wife and the love of his life Ricky and his brothers William and Gary. The family is holding a memorial service in celebration of Wes' life at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, at Desjardins Funeral Chapel at 357 DesMeurons Street in Winnipeg. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens at 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Donations may be made in Wes' name to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
