

CAROLINE BASAROWICH (KULYK) March 16, 1936-July 4, 2012 We are saddened to announce the passing of our wife, mother and grandmother, Caroline Basarowich, after she lost her tough, brave, fight with cancer. Caroline was predeceased by her parents, Anne and Jacob Kulyk. She is survived by her husband, Edward, children, Glen (Kristine), Cheryl (Rick) Gensiorek, and Brian (Lois) as well grandsons, Nicholas, Jacob, Donavan, Dylan and Tim and granddaughters Kyla and Olivia. She is also survived by four sisters, one brother and numerous nieces, nephews and mother-in-law, Annie Basarowich. Caroline was born in Birch River March 16, 1936. She moved with her family to Regina where she stayed until she married Edward on July 7, 1956. They moved to Prince George, and returned to Winnipeg, a year later, where she raised her family in Transcona and continued to reside there until her passing. Her main enjoyments in life were family, winters in Mesa, travelling, camping, bingo, playing cards and casino trips. A memorial service to honour Caroline's life will be held Monday July 9 at Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery Crematorium 1800 Day St. Transcona at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Arrangements in Care of Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery Crematorium 1800 Day Street 224-1525
