ERNEST KORNELSEN

ERNEST (ERNIE) KORNELSEN On Saturday, July 7, 2012, Ernest Kornelsen aged 87 passed away at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. Ernie was born in Steinbach, Manitoba, on August 30, 1924, the youngest of three children. His parents were Gerhard and Annie (Dyck) Kornelsen. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean in 2001. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Mary and brother Bill. He is survived by several cousins and friends. Flowers are gratefully declined. The funeral will take place Friday, July 13, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Fort Garry United Church, 800 Point Road, Winnipeg. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 5K9.
