ANDREW YAWORSKY December 9, 1924 - July 6, 2012 On July 6, 2012, Andrew passed away peacefully in Winnipeg at the age of 87. Andrew is now living in Heaven with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and he is healthy and strong once again. Andrew leaves to mourn Eva his loving wife of 59 years, his daughters Christine and Linda (Nelson) Jones, granddaughter Brittany (Scott) Oatway and great-granddaughter Grace. He is also survived by his sister Lillian Toews and numerous other family members. Andrew was born in Swan Plain, SK, and left the family farm at the age of 16 in order to find work. After finding employment at various jobs, one of which was working as a Fireman on a boat in Kenora, ON, he eventually upgraded his education and became a Power Engineer. At the time of his retirement in 1989, he was working at Eaton's Power House in Winnipeg. Andrew was also a graduate (1957) of Winnipeg Bible College (now Providence University College in Otterburne, MB). Andrew will always be remembered for living his life both for his Lord and for his family. A funeral service will be held for Andrew on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Pentecostal Church, 955 Wilkes Ave., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Ministries Department at Immanuel Pentecostal Church.
