CHARLES CALVIN BEAUCHAMP Great White Northern Thunderbird February 9, 1943 - July 5, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, untimely passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, cousin, uncle and brother, Charles Carrot' Beauchamp. Charles leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Annie Leah Beauchamp (Stevenson), originally from Peguis First Nation; his children, Rachelle Beauchamp, Charlene Asham, Charlston Beauchamp, Denise Bear and Kirby Cook; as well as his brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles will be remembered and loved for his intellectually witty sense of humour, his kind and free-spirited nature. He showed love and respect to everyone and enjoyed sharing and teaching to all who would listen. Charles taught at the Peguis Central School for 23 years, where his passion was to teach and keep alive the native language and history of the indigenous people. We give thanks to all Peguis First Nation and Sapotaweyak Cree Nation community members, also family and friends for their love and support; as well as to the Health Sciences Centre doctors and nurses, and the Peguis Chief and Council. Wake service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Peguis Community Hall.
