GEORGE HAMM

GEORGE HAMM Peacefully after a short illness, George passed away July 16, 2012 at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 94 years. He will be remembered by his daughter Edna, and son Ivan (Diane); brother Dave (Katie) Hamm, and sister-in-law Clara Hamm. George was predeceased by his spouse Hilda in 1987. The Burial will take place Saturday, July 21, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Glenlea Mennonite Cemetery. Services will follow at Sterling Mennonite Fellowship, 1008 Dakota at 12:00 p.m. The family would like to thank Dr. Jain and the nursing staff at Victoria General Hospital who took such good care of George. Donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 5K9.   • Mr. Hamm was a kind, gentle old soul. I will always remember the coffee and ginger cookies he would serve. They were always better at his place. My deepest condolences to Mr. Hamm's family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
