MARY NYKOLUK

MARY SOPHIE NYKOLUK (nee BOULTON) March 31,1926 - July 31, 2012 It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing at the age of 86. Mary was predeceased by her parents James and Sophie, brothers John in 1984, Harry in 1981, George in 2004 and her sister Annie Mymko in 1981. She will be sadly missed by her children Debbie (Craig) Macintosh, Wayne (Gail) Nykoluk, Don (Mona) Nykoluk, Diana Hofer and Darlene (Kurt) Anderson and all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mary was born and raised in Libau where she spent the majority of her life raising her five children and running their family farm. Although she had moved from Libau to a apartment in Selkirk in her later years and then to a nursing home, her fond memories of Libau remained in her heart always. It was her wish to be cremated and have her ashes interred at St. James Church. Poplar Park with no service. Cropo Funeral Chapel 204-586-8044

  • Sorry to hear of the passing of your mom, she will be remembered, she always took care of us kids when she worked at the libau hotel, and I remember her door was always opened when needed, sorry for your loss
