HELEN GIESBRECHT

HELEN GIESBRECHT January 1, 1931 - August 2, 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the quiet passing of Helen Giesbrecht on August 2, 2012. Helen was predeceased by her husband Abe, daughter-in-law Suzie, parents Abraham and Margaret Martens and all of her siblings. She leaves behind sons Ron, Kerry (Lori) and daughter Janet, four grandchildren and also four furry ones. A Memorial Service will be held September 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota St. In keeping with mom's love of sports please wear your favourite sports attire. We would like to send a special thanks to Pastor Dave Saude, Lori and a very special thanks to Daryn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare or Kidney Foundation of Manitoba.   • I didn't really know her, but, I saw her walk religiously around " the home" with her walker. Never saying much of anything, but, really great blue eyes. I saw her walk a few times with her grandson, who told me he plans to be a lawyer someday. I applaud her effort to go out pretty much everyday and enjoy the beautiful back yard. I am sure she
