  • Dear Ed & Family, Don & I want to extend our deep sympathy for the loss of your very dear wife, mother and grandmother. Although we didn't spend a lot of time together, Aurellia's smiling face is what stands out in our minds. She was a ray of sunshine every time you came in contact with her. Her love for Jehovah and the hope of the paradise where there will be no sickness or death was infectious. May the God of all comfort be with all of you as you look forward to the time when you will all be together again, healthy and happy serving our loving God, Jehovah. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. Be assured of our warm brotherly love, Don & Peggy Anders - Posted by: Don & Peggy Anders (Friends) on: Mar 22, 2016

  • I was very saddened to hear of Aurellias passing. We were brought together by a mutual friend 25 years ago as I was going through an extremely difficult personal crisis. What a wonderful, compassionate, caring friend she proved to be. She helped me realize I was stronger than I thought, and even through the darkest times she found reasons for gratitude and thankfulness. I will never forget her. She was a true sister to me during a time of real need. To her family: My Jehovah comfort you through this difficult time and keep your hope bright for "the real life". Much Christian love, Elaine Wagner, Regina, SK - Posted by: Elaine Wagner (Friend) on: Mar 21, 2016

  • I was so very sorry to hear of your loss of Aurellia, such a wonderful lady. She was a very good friend to me through an extremely difficult time, she was a lifeline really. She cried with me and was such a comfort. Even through the darkest of times though she could find reasons for gratitude and thankfulness. I will never ever forget her. To her husband and children: How very blessed you were to have such a dear wife and mother. You will be anxiously waiting to see her smile again. What a happy time that will be!! • We can't thank everyone enough for the beautiful comments about our mom. I could not have asked for a better example to raise us in the truth as servants of the true God Jehovah. She always taught us to put other people first and to be kind and considerate. Whenever we would come and visit she always has so many thank you cards from people she had touched. We hope and pray we can follow in her footsteps. - Posted by: Denise and Jim (Daughter) on: Mar 18, 2016

  • "Aunty" Aurellia, as my brother & I affectionately called her has the most dearest & special place in my heart. Her parents lived close to my grandparents in Sturgis SK and it was always so exciting to visit when Aurellia was there, especially making Adele's famous strudel. Our eyes were as big as the table they made it on, as us kids had never seen anything like that before. My mom has lost her dear friend. Friends for over 75 yrs. She was mom's Maid of Honor and in my mom & dad's 62 years of marriage she never missed sending them an anniversary card. She was someone so special & truly had a heart of gold. She was unwavering in her beliefs & her family fleshly & spiritually meant the world to her. My deepest sympathy to "Uncle" Ed Denise, Todd & families. • Our memories of Aurellia have been summed up in the summary of her life,as well as the comments from her friends. There is something we would like to add -- she always saw the good in others, and that was because she was such a beautiful person herself, both inwardly and outwardly. She was such a spiritual person and we look forward to seeing her again. All our love to her family. • Spiritually steadfast, graceful, warm and kind, Aurellia thought of everyone else ahead of herself. For me she remains in the company of Hannah Brians, Pauline Lastiwka, and Anne Penner. The beautiful women who graced our childhood, and forever saw us as children, special and innocent. She is and always will be irreplaceable, a pillar we built our lives upon and around, unaware of how much we relied on her strength and example. She will be missed by all till we see her again. - Posted by: Bonnie Coad (Friend) on: Mar 17, 2016

  • Can I say that Aurellia was the nicest person I ever met? It sounds like an insult to everyone else - to single her out - but there are simply no negatives. Just smiling compassion, quiet friendship & steadfast faith. Aurellia really lived the truth. She is an example to all of us. We'll talk again, someday! - Posted by: Tricia Dasko Halagaza (Friend, spiritual sister) on: Mar 17, 2016

  • I was just baptized in st. Johns and then onto Dartmouth where I went through a lot of stress with my mom ...then we were off to winnipeg where my husband was stationed in the tuxedo ares. I was pretty much still in the tail wind of my 3 month summer in 1980. But some how aurellia was in my life encouraging me spiritually and much more she will never know till we see each other again, I hope. She was so real to me. Not sure if her children remember me but I remember them....ed we have never met. My love to all. - Posted by: Deborah cheverie (friends .... many years ago) on: Mar 16, 2016
