I remember the fun, the inspiration, and his loving heart that all shone through his personality, on and off air. He was a great friend during that time. Blessings to you all! - Posted by: Keith Wayne MacGregor (Co-worker CKAR) on: Jan 12, 2025

When Jeff was a DJ in Winnipeg it was arranged that he would dedicate a song to "Murray" - a big thrill for an 11 year old. It turned out to be a classic - Maggie May by Rod Stewart. The year was 1971. Jeff was very funny and innovative as a DJ. There was the on-air contest in Winnipeg when winners got a trip to Miami to watch the Super Bowl. Some of the winners were not too happy when a bus took them to Miami, Manitoba to watch the game on TV !! - Posted by: Murray Sisler (Family friend) on: Dec 28, 2016

Jeff and I worked as djs at CFSL in Weyburn Saskatchewan in 1969 and '70. We became good friends and when I got married the first time in September of 1970 in Winnipeg, Jeffrey was my best man! We had some memorable times together and then as happens in radio, especially when you are just starting out, I went one way (North Dakota) and Jeff went another (Winnipeg) and we fell out of touch. Our paths only crossed a couple of times after that and life happened. I was deeply saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. May God comfort you all. - Posted by: Jim Willett (Old Friend) on: Dec 28, 2016

Very sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. We had been friends since Junior high school and High school at Tech Voc. We had kept in touch the past 25 years. We shared many laughs over the years. I will miss him. Garth - Posted by: Garth Meacham (Friend) on: Dec 24, 2016
