On September 9, 2025, Betty passed away peacefully and painlessly, at home, with her two daughters by her side, her hands clasped in prayer.
Betty loved life, playing pool, golf, crossword puzzles, Boggle, hiking, reading, gardening, playing piano and singing. She was the life of every party and the greatest cheerleader of her friends and family. Betty cherished her friendship with her high school buds, Gisela, Ardith, Christine, and Lucy, enjoying many trips together, a cruise, and hiking the Juan de Fuca. Betty had two daughters, Lauren and Mallory, with whom she shared all her love and many adventures, like hiking Camino Trail, the BC Rail Trail, and the Epinette Trail. Betty loved hosting the family Easter dinner, serving her famous scalloped potatoes and cheesecake, and, with her sisters, Patty and Cathy, singing family songs in harmony.
