Richard Small passed away peacefully at Holy Family Home in Winnipeg, at age 89. Born in Flin Flon, he worked with Transport Canada and loved music, especially singing in Ukrainian choirs.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Andrew (Kerry), Nicole (Dino), Thomas (Laura); grandchildren, Alyssa, Mackenna, and Ericka. Predeceased by his wife Alice; parents, Basil and Cecilia; sister Deanna, and brother Raymond.
Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave., Winnipeg, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Bohdan Lukie CSsR officiating. Richard will be resting at Holy Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family Home.
