On September 19, 2025, our loving mother, grandmother and friend peacefully passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Josephus (George).
Betty will be missed by her children, Diana Cameron (Allan), Joey Rooswinkel (Cathie), Michelle Rooswinkel and Susanna Rooswinkel (Wayne); her beloved grandchildren, Diana, Tia, Nichole, Nicholas, Dustin, Bailey, Wesley and her great-grandchild Hudson. Also mourning are her in-laws, the Clinke family.
Betty spent the majority of her career working as a dental assistant at Headingly Correctional Institution. She was a creative, imaginative, compassionate person who was liked by everyone who met her.
Memorial Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Parish on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., 255 Stafford Street, with reception to follow.
