BEVERLY ANN VAN NORMAN

(nee LUND)

After a long and full life, with family by her side, our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed away on September 22, 2025, at 89 years of age.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her loving children, Brenda (John), Bonnie (Roy), Bob (Shannon), Kim (Howard); her brother Alert (Nean); brother-in-law Jack (Marnie) and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Violet Lund; her brother Jack Lund and her in-laws, Bob and Jonina Van Norman.

Mom was born in Saskatoon, SK., on January 28, 1936. She married our dad in 1954, wearing many hats as the wife of an R.C.M.P. member. Mom worked in retail serving others and treating all as family. She enjoyed and nurtured many lifelong friendships.

Mom loved to travel, including bus trips to Alaska, the East Coast and many others supporting Sweet Adelines Chorus.

7th floor at Lion’s Manor has been mom’s home for three years. She treasured the staff and residents who became her extended family and friends.

Our family is truly grateful to all 5 North staff at Grace Hospital for their compassion in caring for our mom.

As per mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal service will be held.

As mom was an avid lover of all fur babies, if so desired, please consider a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
