It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen Corkal (née Willison), beloved wife of Bob Corkal, on September 24, 2025. She was born on February 3, 1942, in Regina, SK.
Maureen leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Bob of 61 years; daughter Glynis (Jim Turnock) and son Bryan (Jacqueline); grandchildren, Gregory, Andrea, and Jessica Corkal, Andrea and Liam Turnock. Maureen was predeceased by her parents, Olive and Bill Willison.
Maureen graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1964 having obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree.
The family would like to thank the WRHA Palliative Care program and specifically Trish for their support in the last few weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Diabetes Canada.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
