CONSTANCE (CONNIE) WALTERSON
It is with very heavy hearts that the Walterson family announces the death of Constance (Connie) Walterson on March 23, 2025, and Kevin Walterson on August 8, 2025, at the ages of 70 and 71 years. They would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this September 20.
Connie was predeceased by her parents, Lillian and Casmir Rodzinski, while Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Sigrun and Eyfi Walterson.
Left to cherish their memories are their daughters, Shannon (Martin) and Roxanne (Sean); grandchildren, Case, Eva and Joelle; sisters of Connie, Karen (Ken) and Sandra (Don); sister and brother of Kevin, Dianne (Frank) and Kelly; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Both Kevin and Connie grew up and met in the Beausejour/Garson area. Kevin went on to become a very successful and well-known chiropractor while Connie had the joy of working by his side as his administrative assistant. They were very involved in the lives of their children, from watching and coaching their many sports to travelling with them to Grand Forks and Florida. They also were very active in their early years, with Kevin playing tennis and golfing, to Connie and her aerobics class, and both in a bowling league.
As their illnesses made things more challenging, they enjoyed spending time with their family, and many phone calls with daughter Roxanne and sister Sandra in Calgary. They also had the joy of living across the courtyard from daughter Shannon and granddaughter Joelle, who would have her ‘chats’ with Papa on the deck of their home.
We would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital, both the ICU for our mom and the 5th floor for our dad, for the care and compassion they had for us during their final days.
According to their wishes, cremation has taken place along with a private ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Manitoba Lung Association or CancerCare Manitoba.
Miss you, love you, just breathe, 44-4-4
