It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daryl Roger Jenken, on October 31, 2025, at Riverview Health Centre, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Daryl was born on June 17, 1959, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. He grew up in St. Vital and Norwood Flats in Winnipeg, where he built lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a reputation that will keep people laughing and shaking their heads for years to come.
He will be remembered and deeply missed by his daughter, Alyson Keelan (Troy) and beloved grandchildren, Lily, Finley and Ryder; siblings, Margaret Crossman, Bill Jenken (Shirley), Fran Delannoy and Dave Jenken; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He’s now reunited with his mother Nellie Jenken; siblings, Lori (Rick) and Richard; and in-laws, Kim Jenken, Al Crossman and Ben Delannoy, where we’re sure he’s already organizing projects, telling ridiculous stories and jokes, or fixing something.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Seasons Funeral Chapel, 576 Balsam Crescent in Oakbank, MB.
