Paul completed his life's journey. True to his nature, he faced cancer with quiet courage, faith and without complaint.
Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joanne, and his three treasures, son Eden (Phillip) (Elliot), daughter Janine (Soren), and Patrick. He will also be sadly missed by mother June (Ron), and their stepson Don; father Doug (Peggy), sister Sherry (Shawn); nephews, Svein and Xander; brother-in-law Gerry (Linda); nephew Matthew (Mariah) and niece Danielle (Dustyn); numerous family, coworkers and friends.
Paul was predeceased by uncles, Lloyd Miller and Phillip Young, and grandparents, Frank and Eleanor Pearn, and Harold and Hertha Seel. He is also predeceased by in-laws, Rene and Gisele Lemoine, and Suzanne Wiebe, and Bibianne Tracy. There is certainly a tournament of four handed cribbage, “trente et un” or Zap that has begun.
Cremation was Paul’s request. No cut flowers, please. Celebration of Life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Tuesday November 18 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a lunch. Attendees are encouraged to wear the “W”, showing support for Paul’s favourite teams: Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Winnipeg Jets or University of Winnipeg Wesmen.
