Rob died suddenly at home.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce and her kids, Jeff and Beth. He will also be missed by his siblings, Terry (Anne), Lorraine, Colin (Denise), Dan (Joey), Sue (Roger) and Jim (Deb), nieces and nephews and in-laws.
He grew up in a military family, living in North Bay, ON as a teenager. Rob moved to Winnipeg as a young man, to be near Terry and Colin. He retired from Westburne Electric in 2005 to move, with Joyce, to several places before returning to Winnipeg in 2013.
Rob loved water, travel and sports. He made several wonderful trips to Cozumel.
He and Colin would dissect the NFL past games, upcoming games and player statistics for hours.
Rob was not one who liked tech, but he appreciated being able to connect with family and friends by email and Facebook.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2026.
