With heavy hearts we announce that Márti passed away on the morning of December 24, 2025 with family by her side.
There will be a Celebration of Life in Márti’s honour in Canmore, Alberta in January and in Winnipeg in April or May, 2026, with dates and locations yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Rotary Club of Canmore.

I was her superintendent when she came to teach in Canmore. She was energetic and inspired to be with children. She will be kindly remembered for contributions to our school community and the community she embraced. My condolences to her family.
