Bill retired from the CN and VIA Rail in 1978 after 35 years of service starting off as a cook and ending his career as a sleeping car conductor. Dad made two trips to Portugal on a golf holiday and a few trips to Florida. It took him a while to get into golf, but once he got hooked on the game, it was hard to keep him off the course. Special thank you to neighbour Eugene who was always available to drive Dad around and just for being there for Dad. Also thank you to sister-in-law Jean Sullivan for all the extra attention you gave to Dad. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Health Sciences Centre GA4, especially Leo and Bernice for their compassion and care of our Dad which made his passing easier.
