Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILLICENT (MILLIE) SINGH (nee DCRUZ) Millicent Agnes Singh passed away peacefully on March 21, 2001. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred (1981). Millie is survived by her five children, Meena (Terry) Day, Ena (Dick) Wells, Stephen (Angela) Singh, Dilip (Donna) Singh, Hareen (Joe) Rebello; 12 grandchildren, Maya, Anita, Naveen; Asha and Jai (their father Cecil) Pereira; Roma and Ryan; Anjali, Meera and Sereena; Anil and Arun; nine great-grandchildren, Dreena, Doran, Francesca and Evan; Alexandra, Marlo and Veronica; Sabrynn and Joshua. Millicent was born in Poona, India, on June 8, 1917. She was a graduate of Tata Institute of Social Work in Bombay. For a time, she was a deputy warden for women in several minimum-security programs in Bombay and Surat, India. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Many thanks to the staff of Victoria General Hospital and pastoral services, Lions Manor including home care and the pastoral services of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
