HAROLD NEUFELD It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather, Harold, on December 24, 2001 who passed away at the Saint Boniface General Hospital with his family by his side following a lengthy illness. Harold will be missed by his wife Verna (nee Ludtke) his daughter Debby; his sons, Rod (Real) and Greg (Laverne) and his special grandchildren, Jess and Kasen. He is survived by his sister Shirley (Jake) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Sarah, his three brothers Ted, Jake, and Lanford, and his four sisters, Helen, Dorothy, Betty, and Vi. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and Dr. Corder at the Beausejour Hospital. We would also like to thank Cheryl Smith, Lenore Erikson, and the nursing staff at 5A Medicine SBGH, Dr. Daeninck, Pain Control Clinic, Dr. Garcia and the palliative team, and Drs. Schroeder and Wong, Oncology SBGH. A special thank you to Jason and all of our other friends and neighbours for their unwavering support during this trying time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harolds memory to Cancer Care Manitoba. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel Beausejour with the interment to follow at a later date.
